Amsterdam, Netherlands

Hi everyone, So I was fortunate enough to go away to Amsterdam for a week last month! I have decided to share some of my photographs with you all, kinda like a photo-journal on my blog. Such a fantastic and beautiful city and I hope that you all get the chance to visit!

Happy viewing :)

Monochrome

Hello everyone! We had such a beautiful day here in the South! (This is my incredible bedroom view!)
Hope that everyone is well and enjoying November! I honestly cannot believe that this year is almost over! It seems that the older I get, the quicker the years seem to be passing, strange...does anyone else feel the same way?

My hair: I have been using a lot of different hair care products recently, to bring my hair back to a healthier state! It looks more voluminous, much healthier and slightly thicker which I am really pleased about. I haven't been using any heat products on my hair and just leaving my hair to air dry in the mornings. It does take quite a bit of time in comparison to a hair dryer but I feel happier knowing my hair isn't being frazzled every morning! Also, my hair seems to have formed a natural wave, which I am really happy about as it means I don't have to do anything to it, yay!

Does anyone have any haircare tips that they would like to share? I will be doing a post on all the products that have worked for me so keep your eyes peeled :)

Finally my outfit.. Combining black and white just makes an outfit all the more classy. I adore the dramatic colour change and it just works so well!

- Black velvet leggings from New Look - £6
- White peplum top with black detailing from Peacocks - £5
- Large white and black tote by Oasis - £20
- Black pumps from Primark - £7

Thanks for reading! Let me know what you think

Black Midi Dress

Hello:)

So this autumn I've been really loving wearing midi-dresses. They appear to be my go to outfit for the day.. as they are so comfortable and look great!  They are especially flattering and figure hugging.. :)
I love this black midi dress by New Look as it is simple yet chic!  I love that it can be dressed up with a statement necklace, or worn casually with a jacket or cardigan! Best of all this was only £6!! I couldn't believe my luck to be honest as usually New Look dresses are over £20!

Plus the ombre/dip dyed effect really seems to stand out against the black of the dress which I love!

What do you think? Are you a fan of midi dresses? Let me know

Waterfall skirt + Biker jacket!

Hi everyone!

Hope everyone is well and enjoying Autumn/Fall! In England Autumn is so unpredictable, there are days when it rains and rains and rains, but then there are a days when it is bright and fairly sunny... so one day I will be wearing layers upon layers and super warm jumpers whereas others I can get away with wearing a skirt and a t-shirt!
Yesterday I wore a burgundy/deep red waterfall skirt which I find so flattering and drapes effortlessly! I think waterfall skirts look really feminine and the shear fabric really shows off your legs:) It is from Internacionale, I think I picked it up for £7 on ebay but the pricetag showed that it was £16.99 from Internacionale ! Check out the Internacionale website as they have so many great items at a reasonable price!
Click here to go to their website

At the last minute, I decided to throw on my sleeveless biker jacket from New Look, which I think really compliments the feminine skirt, even though biker jackets are kind of masculine! This was £12 from New Look which was a steal, as there are similar ones for over £35 in other shops !

Finally, my teal spike necklace from New Look for £3 really stands out in this outfit! I love the contrast between the teal and the deep red, even if some people may think that they mismatch

What do you think of this outfit?

Black and gold

You really can't go wrong with wearing black! It looks great on everyone! :)
I also love the combination of gold details with black (on the bag and the jewellery)
Top - New Look: £8
Pencil Skirt: Unbranded: £9.99
Necklace - New Look: £3
Bangle - N/A (gift)
Bag - Jasper Conran at Debenhams: £50 but in the sale for £25 !

This pencil skirt is so comfortable, not only that but it is incredibly figure hugging and looks really feminine and chic, which I love :). It would be a great skirt for work or just casual wear! Now that the weather is getting colder, I will just add some thick woolly tights, little ankle boots and a thick jumper or jacket:).

What do you guys think? Do you like wearing pencil skirts?

Green Day

Hey guys! Hope you're all doing well :) Today I'm so excited to show you this dark green 'pleather' skirt from Oasis. I really love the dark green, it is subtle but I think it really does make the outfit pop :)
I added my favourite rucksack of all time for a more casual look :). The black croptop makes the outfit slightly more girly which I love and it is an absolute bargain at £2.50 from Primark. My spike necklace is brass and I got it from eBay for around £3 delivered! Such a good buy, and I think it finishes off the outfit perfectly

What do you guys think?
